Rachel has been riding since she was 5 years. As a junior, Rachel was an ambitious rider, successfully competing in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation at shows such as, Vermont Summer Festival, Fieldstone, HITS Saugerties, WEF, and many more. She rode under the instruction of Dawn Dorrance out of Rehoboth, MA for most of her junior and amateur career but had taken lessons with many trainers all n the way. In 2012, after aging out of the juniors, Rachel, with the help and guidance of her parents, opened up her own facility in MA. She began an importing, training and sales business where she works on developing young horses and preparing horses for competition.
In 2017, her husband joined the military and got stationed in Illinois. Rachel sold her barn, packed up her horses and moved to Illinois where she began showing as an adult amateur around other parts of the country (HITS Thermal, St Louis Charity horseshow, Etc.), as well as the shows she had been doing on the East Coast.
This past September, Rachel and her husband welcomed their beautiful babygirl, Iylah Rae, just a week before they moved to Maryland to their new base. At that time, Rachel came to BayView Farm and began her career as a professional.
Rachel plans on continuing her success in the show ring with us while helping client’s with their horses, her own horses, and working on her importing and sales business
